We pledge to make global warming the critical issue in upcoming elections. We will not support any candidate, at any level, who does not appreciate the magnitude of the problem and who does not pledge to support real, science-based solutions. We will make the 2008 elections the Climate Elections.

It's the job of our leaders to have a responsible, long-term vision for the health and prosperity of society. It's now more than two decades since scientists have been warning about climate disruption. We are almost out of time to solve it, and yet our political leaders continue to do nothing. This must change.
