I am a professional writer and want to help people connect through that medium. One New Year's goal I have taken action on is to encourage the Obama administration to re-institute the Federal Writers Project, which was part of New Deal arts programs known collectively as Federal One. I see that as a vehicle for spiritual connectedness, peace within and around all, and a way to help all of us attract amazing dream opportunities as well as heal.

I began Dash Writing Service in pursuit of those effects. A new company without a web site at the moment, the focus is on resume and career coaching as well as communication strategy for public relations and image management. It is an effort to create a steady stream of wonderous situations for all. That is my cause, and the effect I seek.

I am a veteran environment, science and education reporter who enjoys teaching adults, something I have to do on my own terms to be successful. Those terms include workshops, conference training sessions, and in-house coaching in writing, interviewing and intercultural listening, the latter of which is based on some of my scholarship. I also am looking forward to teaching an intensive course in science journalism at Waseda University in Tokyo this summer.

All relationships in which I am willing to engage at this point support and nourish nature and move toward clean air, clean land and clean water as well as conserving and protecting places where we can resonnate with our wildness as wild creatures and explore our limitlessness. That cannot be done without the mind candy nature uses to transform and renew our creative abilities. And so I am here, among you, to that end.
