I'm a homeschooling mom, and wife, and I work for a nonprofit organization called Greensburg GreenTown.

On May 4, 2007, an EF-5 tornado destroyed 95% ouf our town. The city council, mayor, and residents banded together, and decided to rebuild our town 'green'. The City Council passed a law that all city buildings would be build certified LEED-Platinum, which is the higest they could go. Businesses and private citizens building thier homes all have begun building green, too.

Our organization is here to help educate citizens, and to help them find the resources needed to build green. There are so many projects in the community we are currently working on!
