I am a graduate student in the School of International Service at American University, about to finish my degree in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development. I love the natural world, and am most passionate about saving it and humanity from destruction as a result of human-induced climate change. I have been trying to raise awareness of the issue to college students and small businesses in particular for the past 7 years. I believe the debate over the science and truth of climate change is over...it is happening, and our next step is to convince humanity to adapt NOW. And I have total faith that with enough compassion and voice, we can carefully make climate change a regional, national and global priority.
