I have spoken with David Gershon and seen the materials used in the Low-Carbon Diet. He's doing great work ... has been taking a local, team-of-neighbors approach to greening lifestyles for many years, and figuring out what works and what doesn't work. He knows a lot about how to support lifestyle changes that really stick.

With that said, I wish that his energy were focused more on advocating for the policy changes that are essential to us really tackling this problem. But LCD does have "civic action" on the menu, and maybe it will be an on-ramp for some people to eventually get involved at a political level.
