It's a great question, and deserves its own discussion. The short answer is, get a group together and call and make an appointment. Your Senators and Representatives should have times when they're in the home district, and you may be able to attend a pre-scheduled session.

There's a lot more to be said, though ... I know there are groups that have put out pamplets on how to hold an effective meeting with electeds ... I'll look around for that, and invite you to poke around too and see what you can find.
