Barbara Boxer actually has a survey asking for the public to rate various climate policy options. It's a fascinating thing for her to do -- I just wish it were better implemented. First of all, why force people to choose between options such as fuel efficiency and building efficiency? This is not a popularity contest.

But more important is what's not on her list of options: a carbon tax, national renewable portfolio standard, or any international measures.

Anyhow, go fill out the survey and tell her you want a total national commitment to stabilize with less than 2deg C warming.

Barbara Boxer is asking citizens to co-sponsor her

climate legislation.

This seems like a good way to support her and she is certainly doing her best to push this issue forward.

Thanks for sending this information. It's important to know where we can at least add our names to support change on the political level. I agree with Phil, though, the survey leaves something to be desired.
