Should I  give up driving, car-share, drive a greener car, drive less, or go car-free entirely?

Let's not get bogged down in semantics.  What do we want?  We want to counteract CO2 emissions to slow down or hopefully stop global warming.  What are the single biggest contributions to CO2 by an individual?  Heating, travel and other energy uses not included in the previous two.  How the contributions to these three categories break down is different for each individual, and that's something that is imperative for each of us to account for.  However, I think it's pretty safe to state that travel is one "pretty large" chunk, even without quantifying it e... There is an article among many on the culturechange.org site that in my opinion captures best and most concisely the magnitude of the impending crisis, with all its ramifications.  I would love to start a discussion on this. (With the understanding that the last thing we need is more hot air, in every sense, but that the only purpose of discussing is to take action - now).
